Taste Test – MunchPak February 2023 #2

Our second MunchPak for this month is again a total winner. We continue to be amazed at the quality of the snacks when compared to other subscription snack boxes. The only complaint being that the snacks come from a variety of countries and do not have a single theme. Although the box does not have the educational value of other subscriptions it is perfect for sitting down in front of the TV. This turned out to be our highest rated box ever Alex 8.04 out of 10, Joe 7.47 out of 10.

Taste Test – HP Sauce

HP Sauce is a British brown sauce, the main ingredients of which are tomatoes and tamarind extract. It was named after London’s Houses of Parliament. After making its first appearance on British dinner tables in 1899, HP Sauce went on to become an icon of British culture. The bottle I purchased was manufactured in The Netherlands and distributed out of London. I am not a huge steak fan but I decided to try the sauce on some steak and prime rib.

Taste Test – Try the World (January 2021)

Our first Try the World subscription box for 2021 has arrived. To go along with the disappointment of not having any descriptive material in the box there was a repeat item from only a few months ago. I would give up this subscription but the quality of the products is still top notch. The cultural experience is severely lacking when compared to other description boxes.
