Bavette Steak with Sherry/Shallot Sauce is the offering from HelloFresh tonight. Bavette steak, also more widely known as flap steak, is a cut of beef from the lower chest or abdominal muscles of the cow. This very flavorful piece of beef along with the tasty sauce made one of our better HelloFresh meals. 9 out of 10. Along with the main meal we enjoyed two additional supplements which can be purchased separately from HelloFresh; garlic bread and spinach and artichoke dip.

The large quantity of spinach & artichoke dip was excellent especially when pared with freshly baked garlic bread

It was late one night while we were in Derry so we decided to get some takeout. After a quick Yelp search we found The China Garden and ordered several items along with fried rice. The food was typical take out Chinese fare not bad but not anything special either. If local certainly a place you could bookmark for your Chinese food fix. Rita did not like the boneless ribs thinking they had an unusual flavor, Alex and I thought they were fine.

Donna’s Donuts in Tewksbury is a local donut shop known for their unusual donut creations. These are perfect for a party as a novelty item and conversation piece. Donuts shaped like a cheeseburger, meatball sub or steak and cheese will get people to look twice. The donuts themselves are fine typical donut shop donut. If you like Boston cream type filling you will like these unusual creations as that is the binding for the cheesesteak etc.
