Our Try the World subscription box for December 2020 contains products from In Indonesia, Italy, Thailand and Peru. The lack of any information on the products is annoying but we are still satisfied with the quality of the offerings.

Microwavable noodles from Indonesia.

White chocolate wafers from The Tyrol in Italy. Always quality chocolate from “Try the World”

Pre-cooked jasmine rice from Thailand.

Tuna from Thailand.

Skipjack Tuna and salt are the only ingredients.

Blood Orange Soda from Italy.

I am not a fan of any soda but Alex loved it.

Black Truffle Honey from Italy.

Yellow pepper paste from Peru.

Taste Test – Tiny Anchovies

I purchase these tiny anchovy fish from Super 88 Market in Malden, Massachusetts. Amazingly they come gutted and skinned! Quick frozen they are perfect to throw in the freezer for later use. I dip them in egg and then corn meal before frying. The anchovies are so tiny they come out crispy and cook in minutes. They make a great fishy crunchy snack.

The tiny fish are skinned, gutted with the head removed and ready to fry.

About an inch long with many even smaller.

Crunchy and fishy.

Alex not a fan but I love them.
