Franconia Notch Bike Path is a 8.8 mile heavily trafficked point-to-point trail located near Franconia, New Hampshire that features a lake and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from May until October. The path is within Franconia Notch State Park.

Greenfield State Park is a 400-acre public recreation area in Greenfield, New Hampshire. The park features ponds, bogs, and a forest that extends to the shore of undeveloped Otter Lake. Activities include camping, hiking, swimming, fishing, picnicking, and non-motorized boating. There is a small store, playground, boat ramp, and rentals.

Silver Lake State Park is an 80-acre state park located along NH Route 122 on the northern shore of Silver Lake in the town of Hollis, New Hampshire. The park offers swimming at a sandy beach with a bathhouse, picnicking, and playground equipment, and the rental of kayaks and paddle boats.
Wentworth State Park is a 50-acre public recreation area on the north shore of Lake Wentworth in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. Activities include swimming, picnicking, non-motorized boating, and fishing. Amenities include picnic tables, grills, flush toilets and a group use area.

Northwood Meadows State Park in Northwood, New Hampshire spans 674.5 acres in a wilderness setting. This wooded park has a vast wetlands area and is excellent for nature walks and picnicking. The park includes a pond created by a dammed brook – a popular place for fishing and non-motorized boating. The easily accessible trails also make the park an ideal place for biking, hiking, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing.
