Taste Test – S&B Umami Topping Crunchy Garlic with Chili Oil

Growing up in Brazil Rita eats a lot of rice and beans resulting in a lot of leftover white rice that makes it way into my lunch the next day. I usually add some hot peppers and mix them into the rice but I wanted something a little more flavorful. I purchased this S&B Umami topping for that reason. The product was very thick with a very small liquid component. As the name suggests it was more of a topping than a mix-in addition. Not very spicy, the flavor profile was rather mild. I enjoyed it more on a stir fry or fried rice dish than on plain white rice.

Flavor a little mild for plain white rice but excellent when added to stir frys or fried rice

Taste Test – Carnivore Snax Ribeye

I hesitate calling this beef jerky Carnivore Snax Ribeye is something akin to ambrosia when compared to other beef jerky. The sliced beef looks like a slice of ribeye steak and the amount of salt, lean meat and fat are spot on making a delectable snack like no other. The texture is crumbly not chewy and the beefy flavor is exceptional. The only drawback is the price as a single bag costs $39. The price although steep is well worth it as the cut of meat used is not cheap and the flavor more than makes up for the steep output of cash.
