We purchased a series of different flavored honeys from Honeyrun Farms in Ohio. Alex loves honey so we were looking forward to the taste test.

The seasonal honeys became darker with a more pronounced flavor as the year progressed.
The lemon verbena was mild in flavor and most similar to traditional mass market honey.

The lavender infused honey had a very pronounced flavor but not at all off-putting.

The tulip poplar honey was darker in color and very tasty with a unique flavor.

The buckwheat was Alex’s least flavor with a strong flavor. I quite liked it the dark colored honey had a flavor you will recognize if you like buckwheat pancakes.

A nice variety of honeys with some unique flavors not at all like the supermarket product.
