Fresh Lychees are a popular fruit in Asia. When I was in China they were on almost every breakfast buffet and in every outdoor market. Alex and I tried canned Lychees and did not find them to be very good, so when we saw fresh lychees in the store we decided to pick them up.
At first Alex was taken aback with the appearance and unusual nature of the fresh fruit.
After tasting it he was actually quite impressed.
He polished off the package in two sittings and enjoyed the fruit very much.
