We are now in Porto to finish my business at the government office. Our hotel, AC Porto by Marriott, is in the more modern part of Porto but is quite near the office I need to go to. The hotel is very modern with all of the amenities you would expect.
Life is all about tradeoffs; a modern hotel with amenities and spacious rooms or a historic hotel in the center of old town.
The local football (soccer) stadium was adjacent to the hotel. The Dragon Stadium.
Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a good choice convenient but still very good.
Alex ordered the sardines as an appetizer.
Alex loved them.
For entrees we ordered the Pasta Bolognese and beef sandwich on ciabatta bread with parmesan.
Even the salt and pepper are single use in the time of COVID-19.
Both entrees were excellent.
