The Web of Terror by Paul W Robinson and Shaun Russell was the fifteenth novel in The Lucy Wilson Mysteries series from Candy Jar Books featuring Brigadier Alastair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart‘s granddaughter Lucy Wilson. It features a repeat engagement with the Killer Spiders this time on an alien planet.
It is nice to have these children’s novels in the Doctor Who milieu since they have been lacking in the recent main releases from the Whoniverse. This novel sees Lucy and Hobo travel to an alien planet to engage with some intelligent pandas and the evil giant killer spider controlling them. Cute pandas and a fast paced story make this the perfect book for Whovian youngsters in your family. 7 out of 10.
