The Raymond Historical Society held their annual chili cook off on the Raymond Common with the 6th Annual American Legion Antique Car Show.
The chili cook off was great fun and was in support of a great cause; the Historical Society. It is so important to keep the history of the area alive and impart the experience and knowledge of past generations to our children. Their are several fund raisers throughout the year, please support your local society whenever possible.
The selection of cars this year was great with a variety of vintage, eclectic and muscle cars.
One of the highlights was a “General Lee” from the TV show “Dukes of Hazard”.
My vote for best in show was the ’57 Bel Aire
Alex and Rita both liked the VW van: cool man!
The event was a great place to meet up with old friends,
and make new ones (you can read Art’s blog here).
