The Empty Sky New Jersey 9/11 Memorial

In the corner of Liberty State Park in Jersey City, New Jersey is the memorial to the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attack “The Empty Sky.” This moving tribute is two solitary columns with the inscribed names of victims of the attack. The memorial is reminiscent of the Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial in Washington, DC.

There is a nice old train terminal building

and the views of the Manhattan skyline are fantastic.
