Major Andrew McClary Historic Marker – Epsom, New Hampshire

Epsom, New Hampshire was the home of Major Andrew McClary who served with Rogers Rangers in the French and Indian War. He took part in the raid on Fort William and Mary in New Castle and was second in command to Colonel John Stark of the 1st New Hampshire Regiment at the Battle of Bunker Hill. McClary was the last American killed in the battle.
Fort McClary in Kittery Maine was named after him.
