The Folsom Tavern in Exeter, New Hampshire is a historic structure which is part of the American Independence Museum.
The tavern was built by Colonel Samuel Folsom in 1775, one of the most famous visitors was George Washington. Newly elected the first President of the United States Washington stopped at the tavern on November 4, 1789.
The tavern has been moved several times most recently in 2004 and incorporated into the Independence Museum at its present location.
