Estey Organ Company Historical Marker – Brattleboro, Vermont

The Estey Organ Company was formed in 1863 in Brattleboro, Vermont. Jacob Estey took over an already established Melodeon Business and began the manufacture of reed organs. Their reed organs were sold and used in churches and homes around the world. The company remained in business until 1960 remaining in the Estey family’s hands for most of that time.
