Not our name, but our passion
Tonight’s HelloFresh was Butternut Squash Agnolotti. We added on a loaf of garlic bread and some caramelized onion and feta cheese pastry bites both available as add-ons from HelloFresh. We are enjoying the vegetarian meals from HelloFresh and are getting one or two of them per week for a pleasant change from meat dishes. 9 out of 10.

Pan Di Stelle by Mulino Bianco in Italy are chocolate pastry cookies made with cocoa and hazelnuts, decorated with sugar stars. Mulino Bianco‘s star product and one of the bestselling ones. Pan di Stelle cookies are renowned as the quintessential Italian cookie. I don’t enjoy hazelnut flavoring in my chocolate but Alex loves it so he thought these cookies were the Bee’s Knees.
Our new subscription box from Treats International was from Italy this month. Alex gave the snacks an average rating of 6.3 out of 10, while I scored them a 6.1 out of 10 score. These snack boxes from Treats International are running lower scores than other snack boxes we have tried. The quality of the snack options has been disappointing.

This is our last subscription box from Try the World. We got tied of the total lack of any descriptive documentation in the box. You have to use a magnifying glass to determine country of origin and it is not present all the time. This month we also got a duplicate item from the previous month’s box. This month we received items from Korea, Indonesia, Italy and the United States. The tea was again not identifiable.

Squid Ink Pasta is pasta that has been infused with squid ink and is a dark black in color. The pasta is reported to have a citrus or lemon flavor. We ordered some from Amazon and decided to give it a try.
The pasta was mild in taste and only had a slight hint of lemony flavor. Overall not very different than other pasta with the exception of color.
