Fort Ann was a Revolutionary War era fort and was the site of the Battle of Fort Ann on July 8, 1777. This old well is one of many remnants of the old fort in and around the modern village of Fort Ann, New York.
Well used by the fort
The Fair Haven Town Park is a common area in the center of the town of Fair Haven. It is a pleasant little park especially during peak foliage season and is also encircled by interesting architecture.

The Fair Haven Fire and Police Departments are housed in interesting old brick buildings adjacent to the town common. The common is a nice little park which is encircled by interesting architecture including two churches and the Marble Inn and Adams House.
