The Chicken Connection in Plaistow is one of several locations for this small chain. They are noted for their chicken fingers, fried chicken and side dishes but they also have ribs and BBQ. Their fried chicken is very good and Alex likes their fingers. The array of side dishes is also a highlight.

Sal’s Pizza in Derry is a pizza chain that was first established in 1990. I like their thin crust pizza and find this to be one of the best pizzas in our general area.

We purchased one type of Thai Chili Peppers from our local farm stand J&F Farms. Alex is not adverse to some spice but these were quite hot.

The Coin and Currency Club is better than ever with its expanded offerings which include additional currency, added information cards, recipe cards and a question card prompting you to guess which country you have based on answers to several questions. One of my favorite snacks are Hormel’s Pickled Pigs Feet, unfortunately they have become very difficult to find in the supermarket and online they can be quite expensive through Amazon. I saw this brand Herb’s for a quite reasonable price so I decided to try them.

Alex did not like the slimy texture. They were a little too firm for me and not as gelatinous as I would have liked, the flavor was on point
