The Keene Glass Works manufactured free-blown bottles and window panes. Lawrence Schoolcraft started a glass factory in Keene in 1814 when townspeople hired him to meet the need for glass in the early 19th century.

Hancock-Greenfield Covered Bridge (Hancock & Greenfield, New Hampshire)
The County (aka Hancock-Greenfield) Covered Bridge spans the Contoocook River between the towns of Hancock amd Greenfield. The current bridge was built in 1937 and replaced a bridge that was heavily damaged in a flood in 1936. The original bridge was built in 1852.
Greenfield State Park – Greenfield, New Hampshire
Greenfield State Park is a 400-acre public recreation area in Greenfield, New Hampshire. The park features ponds, bogs, and a forest that extends to the shore of undeveloped Otter Lake. Activities include camping, hiking, swimming, fishing, picnicking, and non-motorized boating. There is a small store, playground, boat ramp, and rentals.

Miller State Park – Peterborough, New Hampshire
The 533-acre Miller State Park in Peterborough was established in 1891 when 3 acres atop Pack Monadnock were donated to New Hampshire. The name Pack comes from an Indian word meaning “little” and is used in comparison to nearby Mount Monadnock. Pack Monadnock has a paved auto road to the top and is the former site of two hotels. It has a renovated fire tower at the summit which is staffed seasonally.

Silver Lake State Park – Hollis, New Hampshire
Silver Lake State Park is an 80-acre state park located along NH Route 122 on the northern shore of Silver Lake in the town of Hollis, New Hampshire. The park offers swimming at a sandy beach with a bathhouse, picnicking, and playground equipment, and the rental of kayaks and paddle boats.
