Alex and I saw this can of Jackfruit in syrup at the supermarket and decided to give them a try. We opened the can and took a piece each to try. They had a slight pineapple hint but were too rubbery texturally for our liking.
Rather than wasting the rest of the can we looked up a chicken and jackfruit curry recipe that we tried out. After cutting up the jackfruit we added it to the other ingredients.
It turned out exceptionally well adding just the right amount of sweetness to the dish.
