One of my favorite foods are olives. I like them as a snack and use them extensively for cooking as well. Seeing as how many I use on a weekly basis I purchased some imported olives from Greece through Roland Foods.
I found these olives to be saltier and more tart than what I am used to. The flavor was very sharp and biting especially when eating them out of hand. They were fine for cooking with a distinctive olive taste that imparted the flavor to food very well. It may very well be my sensitive American pallet not used to the sharpness of the product. The product was a mixture of kalamata, green and black olives.
