In the town of Raymond, New Hampshire on NH Route 27 there is a historic marker for the town of Nottingham. Nottingham is the location of the wonderful Pawtuckaway State Park just a few miles from this marker. Nottingham was established in 1722 and was the home of four Revolutionary War generals. The monument to the four generals was dedicated in 1917. It is located in the Nottingham town square.
There are also several buildings of historical significance in Nottingham.
The marker has a small area in front room for one vehicle to park along the side of the road and the marker itself is slightly overgrown with weeds.
