My favorite recipe growing up was Empadão de Frango a Brazilian chicken pot pie that my mother made. I decided to make some at home to have Joe and Alex try.
After boiling and pulling apart the chicken you grind the meat and mix with the flavorings.
Layer the meat into a homemade dough.
Cover with more dough and bake.
The resulting dish brought me right back to my childhood. Alex loved it and Joe thought it was OK.
