Taste Test – Cheese of the Month Club (December 2020)

Our first Cheese of the Month Club shipment arrived with three cheeses from three different countries. The shipment came packed in ice packs and contained a one page information flyer giving a description of each cheese in the package. The quality of all three cheeses was excellent with a nice 8 ounce piece of each cheese wrapped in a wax paper bag clearly labeled. We will definitely be continuing this box as Rita and I both love cheese as an accompaniment to dinner or as a snack. I have tried other cheese clubs in the past and the quality of the cheese in this club is exceptional.

There is a nice fact sheet on the flyer with key points for each cheese.

The first cheese was Stilton out of England, a blue cheese.

The Point Reyes Toma from California is a semi-firm cow’s milk cheese

The  Comté Extra from France is salty, mild and fruity with undertones of nutmeg and hazelnut.
