Restaurant Review – Woodman’s of Essex (Essex, Massachusetts)

Woodman’s of Essex in Essex, Massachusetts is the self proclaimed inventor of the fried clam. It is one of three locations on the North Shore of Massachusetts that serves fried seafood that is the epitomy of the art. Along with the Clam Box and JT Farnham’s you can experience the true taste of New England. This is one example where the destination is worth the trip, we will drive all the way down from New Hampshire just for their fried seafood.

Its worth the wait!

Alex waiting patiently.

The pandemic opened up some seats usually it is quite full.

Rita had fish and chips.

You have to have fried clams at the place where they were invented.

Alex enjoying his clamstrips.
