Restaurant Review – Ralphie’s Café Italiano (Salem, New Hampshire)

Bring your appetite if you are in Salem, New Hampshire and you stop at Ralphie’s Café Italiano. The restaurant first opened in 1976 and only just recently moved to a new location with a much larger space on Route 28. Known for their red sauce Italian cuisine and enormous portions.

The acidic red sauce reminds me of my mother’s home made suuce and made me very nostalgic. The sauce is slathered over their gigantic portions of pasta.

There are other options on the menu if you don’t want red sauce.

Deserts are very good if you still have room (or more likely take half your entree home).

One note: the restaurant is quite large and the parking lot is undersized so that even when the lot is full up there are still seats available inside. A nice stop and a thankyou to Auntie Kathy and Uncle Jim for Alex’s birthday lunch.
