In downtown Exeter, New Hampshire is a lovely short walk along the Exeter / Swamscott River. Exeter is a great place for a pleasant afternoon. There are a multitude of nice restaurants and shops, several areas of historic interest and this picturesque walk along the river.
The walk can be accessed directly across the street form the Ladd-Gilman House and the American Independence Museum.
