Cougar Mountain Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk Cookie from Washington State was a classic case of something looking way better than it tastes. We were both anxious to try the cookie. I found the peanut flavor to be too strong for my taste and I just did not enjoy the texture or flavor. Alex-7 Joe-6

This was our highest Snack Crate box and one of our highest overall boxes for both Universal Yums and Snack Crate. Maybe it is because it has flavors that we are more used to being from the United States. Be sure to check out our previous posts on Universal Yums and Snack Crate Boxes under Taste Tests.

Taste Test – Snack Crate (The Netherlands)

August 2020 brought us to the Netherlands for this month’s Snack Crate box. A little bit disappointed as we had received a Netherlands box from Universal Yums previously but we hoped there would be a different selection of snacks. With the exception of two or three items the snacks were different than the Yum box.

Although the up charge for one can of soda is a bit steep Alex and I both love the idea of getting a drink with each Snack Crate box, for us the variety is worth it.

Our second snack crate we found similar in quality to the Hawaii box. Pretty much down the middle in terms of ratings with not a lot of really high marks but also not a lot of terrible snacks.
