Not our name, but our passion
As a child my parent would take us sledding to Shedd Park in Lowell, Massachusetts which was just a few minute from our house. The hills are quite gentle and are perfect for younger children. We took Alex and his friend Katie for a day of sledding.

I purchase fresh quail eggs from the Super 88 Market in Malden, Massachusetts. More of a novelty than a staple food item they are an interesting conversation starter when served at a party or hard boiled in a salad. The eggs tast very similar to chicken eggs.

I purchase these tiny anchovy fish from Super 88 Market in Malden, Massachusetts. Amazingly they come gutted and skinned! Quick frozen they are perfect to throw in the freezer for later use. I dip them in egg and then corn meal before frying. The anchovies are so tiny they come out crispy and cook in minutes. They make a great fishy crunchy snack.

I used to raise ducks and fondly remember the fresh eggs I would get every morning. When I saw some for sale at the Super 88 Market in Malden, Massachusetts we purchased some. The eggs are quite a bit larger than a chicken egg but the taste is quite similar. To be honest the freshness of having your own eggs is the defining flavor more so than the type of bird. Having raised geese, ducks and guinea hens the size of the egg was the big difference not the taste.

The Trask House in Manchester-by-the-Sea was built in 1823 by local businesswoman Abigail Hooper, who ran a general store. She married one year later merchant ship captain Richard Trask. The house now contains the collection of the Manchester Historical Society.
