Not our name, but our passion
The New England Ski Museum is located in Franconia Notch State Park at the foot of the Cannon Mountain Tram. There is also a second location in North Conway, New Hampshire.
The museum covers both the 8000 year history of skiing as well as New England’s contributions to the sport.
The Whale’s Tale Water Park in Lincoln is a fun summertime destination for the whole family but especially for the kids.
There are a variety of rides both slow paced and adventuresome. For a nice relaxing float nothing beats the Lazy River.
Alex’s favorite ride was the half pipe,
but he also liked the slides.
If you have little ones Shipwreck Island is great fun.
There is something for kids of all ages.
The town of Danville has two one room schoolhouses that can be visited. The Old Red Schoolhouse and this one The Little Red Schoolhouse dating from 1834.
The Old Meeting House Cemetery in Danville is adjacent to the Hawke Meeting House Historic Site and is easily accessed.
There is a nice pastural setting but the graves are not as old as the Ye Old Cemetery also in town.
